The Delaware Academy of Public Safety and Security would like to congratulate Class of 2017 graduates, Jordan M. Angel and Caitlyn N. Cutter, for their successful completion of the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician examination. Cadets Angel and Cutter worked diligently all school year completing the Academy, Public Safety 4, Emergency Medical Technician class that meets the National EMS Education Standards. Completion of this course, which consisted of written assessments, examinations and analysis along with practical exercises, provides students with an in-depth knowledge and skill-based training to appropriately assess, monitor and transport pre-hospital patients.
Cadets Angel and Cutter were also required to spend time in a clinical setting, assessing and monitoring patients experiencing medical emergencies and conditions, as part of the course requirements. After successfully completing the class, Cadets Angel and Cutter were eligible to sit for the National Registry examination administered by the Delaware Fire School. Cadets Angel and Cutter successfully completed the examination requirements and are now fully certified Emergency Medical Technicians. The Academy would like to recognize Cadet Angel and Cadet Cutter for their hard work and successful completion of the course requirements. We are proud of their accomplishments and wish them well in their future endeavors.
